With handmade costumes, props, dance and live Egyptian-style music, children will become the Israelites, the Plagues, and other colorful characters! The man releases the fish when it speaks to him and asks him to spare its life. In gratitude, the fish grants him a wish, but the man's greedy wife demands more and more.... Play Me a Story welcomes children to enjoy an imaginary holiday feast as a community in a Rosh Hashanah version of Stone Soup with handmade costumes and props of delicious Jewish foods, and original Klezmer-style music. Following the performance, the children are invited to create holiday-themed crafts and sing Rosh Hashanah songs. For event information please click here.
